The Trafford Centre's year-round calendar of events continues with January and February's round-up, from Star Wars fun at Half-Term, through to Beauty Magic and Chinese New Year - there's always something happening...
The Trafford Centre Tea Dance 4pm - 6.30pm
Join us for our regular weekly tea dances with Greg Francis and his band. Complimentary tea and coffee, complimentary cloakroom a free prize raffle for a box of chocolates provided by Thornton’s.
Please note there will be no Tea Dance on Tuesday 14 & Tuesday 21 February
The Trafford Centre Mall Walk
Meet at the Customer Service Desk in the Main Dome every Wednesday at 9.45am
Our free mall walk is a short brisk 30-40 minute walk, with trained leaders taking you round the whole Centre.
First weekend of every month - Young Driver launches on the Overflow Car Park
Then it’s the first weekend of every month!

Come and celebrate the 2012 Year of the Dragon on The Orient Main Stage.
Together we’ll celebrate Chinese New Year, featuring internationally acclaimed acrobat troupes from Chengdu, China, world class Chinese acrobatics, juggling, contortion acts plus many more.
This colourful show is packed full of fun and excitement, it is the perfect entertainment for the whole family!
Visit The Bandstand where you can find out your Chinese zodiac sign and see which lucky animal represents your birth year plus a great collection of colourful arts and crafts, perfect for gifts with a little bit of good fortune.

Sunday 12 February – I CAN’s Chatterbox Challenge – The Orient 10am - 4pm
I CAN’s Chatterbox Challenge will be a fun packed day in The Orient. Children’s author and poet, Pauline Stewart, will be bringing poetry to life in fun child-friendly sessions. Children (and parents) will be able to take part in interactive dramatic play sessions with Debutots, that encourage imaginations to soar and communication skills grow. Other highlights include goody bags, free face painting, a magician and the chance to meet Humf, the furry purple cuddly thing from Nick Jr.

Join the team from LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre as they host a LEGO® Star Wars™ themed activity on the Bandstand. Look at for a LEGO Captain Rex watching over you as you build!

Join Jedi Moss, a descendant of the Skywalker Solo legacy and part of the Rebel Alliance along with 2 of his Jedi companions on the Main Stage for an exciting show. that offers all you need to know to transcend from being a young Padawan learner to a fully-fledged Jedi Knight. Be prepared for lots of action and a chance to join in the fun!
Thursday 16 February – Darth Vader’s Mask Making Workshop 11am – 4pm
Visit the bandstand to make your very own Darth Vader Mask in our Star Wars Workshop
Friday 17 February – Luke Skywalkers Lightsaber Workshop 11am – 4pm
Every Star Wars fan knows the lightsaber is the signature weapon of the Jedi order. So come along and get creative on the bandstand, let your imagination run wild in our lightsabre making workshop.
Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 February – 99th Garrison on The Bandstand, The Orient
Meet characters from the Empire and have your photo taken. Members of the 99th Garrison - Star Wars costuming group will be searching The Trafford Centre for Rebels - so bring your camera!
