Be inspired by the 1930s

Next season sees a return to femininity and sophistication as the 1930’s trend, celebrated by designers such as Alice Temperley, is set to make a huge impact.

This elegant sense of style can easily be transferred into your wardrobe. Focus on key items such as tailored dresses, pencil skirts and feminine blouses in materials such as tweeds, furs and silks in a hue of pretty colours. These are to become our staples for SS12!

Finally, you mustn’t forget to adorn your outfit with a combination of accessories from lace and pearl to sunglasses and headscarves. Then you’re set to go!

Leaf print dress £50 and clutch £15 from Next.

Swap your heavy jumpers for a lighter knit and you'll instantly feel more spring-like. Cream jumper from Debenhams.
